Combatants chuckle as they travel on the rear of a pick-up truck, racing past a series of multiple dead bodies and driving in the direction of the descending African sun.

"Look at such accomplishment. Observe this act of ethnic cleansing," one shouts.

The individual smiles as he directs the video equipment on his own face and his associate fighters, their paramilitary identification on display: "The victims are all going to perish like this."

These individuals are celebrating a mass killing that aid workers fear killed over 2,000 individuals in the Sudanese city of the Darfur city in recent weeks.

A Community Isolated from the World
